In a career spanning over 40 years The Stranglers have quite a reputation. And alongside a lifestyle that possibly wouldn’t be recommended by some health experts, their music has left its own mark.
This tour will showcase their legendary third studio album; Black & White, which came out in 1978 and at the time reached number two in the UK charts.
Ahead of their UK tour which will see them playing at the Leas Cliff Hall, we spoke to bassist Jean-Jacques Burnel from the Stranglers about music, martial arts, gaffa tape and why the Kinks are ….. well, we had to delete the two words used. Let’s just say it wasn’t a compliment.
