Sandgate Sea and Food Festival
The annual Sandgate Sea & Food Festival is back again this year for a fun family filled weekend.
The event that hosts a weekend of laughter, fun and excitement for the whole family will open with
plenty of “OOOhh’s” and “Aaahh’s” from 7.30pm with a spectacular firework display, coupled with the lighting of the Sandgate Festival beacon to announce the start of the yearly festival. Sandgate’s 95th Rifles will also be in attendance.
Sunday starts at noon and promises to be a really busy day with numerous stalls catering for all ages, stilt walkers, Folkestone Party Mascots, circus workshops, live music and much more. There is also a Punch and Judy Show on the beach.
Jam packed with plenty of different activities, there are plenty of food options and local businesses will also have stalls for the public to browse. There will also be a variety of live music over the weekend.
Head inland from Sandgate beach, with an Arts and Craft Fair in the Chichester Memorial Hall from 11am to 4pm.

You can also visit Sandgate's very own H.G.Wells exhibition “War Of The Worlds” at 82 Sandgate High Street. The exhibition will be open from 11a.m. until 4p.m and at The Sandgate Masonic Hall in Gough Road, members will be on hand to answer questions about Freemasonry. The Hall will be open on both days from 10am to 4pm with free refreshments
