Helping Nepal

After Nepal was hit with a devastating Earthquake that has affected 8 million people, the Disaster Emergency Committee has been appealing for donations to help with rescue efforts.

We spoke to Mike Thiedke, the director of public engagement for Plan UK, one of the charities that are part of the committee.

Mike was also in Nepal when the Earthquake struck and he explains the devastation that has been left and the difficulties getting relief to some of the more rural parts of Nepal.
