Pirate Party in the Park

Listen ere me hearties, Jim Jam Arts are back at the Coastal Park this Sunday for another family fun day.

Pirate Party in the Park starts at 1pm with a hat and patch making workshop to get you looking like a Pirate.

Sue from Jim Jam Arts told us what else is planned for the day:   “We have also got a piratical circus skills workshop just after 1pm and a treasure hunt from 1-3pm.

“As with ‘Around the World in an Afternoon’ that we had in July and ‘Alice in the Coastal Park’ just gone, Shepway District Council have funded the event so that it is a completely free.”

Along with face painting, the Quarterhouse is hosting some story telling with a female Pirate who may need some help finding her ship. Will she be able to track it down with your help?

 The Coastal Park

 Sing-a-long with some Sea Shanties

Warm up your vocal chords and sing along to some sea shanties with some shanti folk singers which will have numbers for all ages to join in with.

The music will continue later into the afternoon from 3pm with some special Pirate bands.

Another jam packed afternoon at the Coastal Park for all the family, at the best Pirate party this side of the Caribbean. Dress as a Pirate and see if you can find some treasure.  Ooo Arrrr!
