Inviting the public in for a taster of the behind the scenes of the creative community, the Creative Quarter is giving people the chance to look around the different art exhibitions, jewellers and designers studios which also coincides with the launch of the new additions to the permanent triennial collection.
Along with studio artists such as Alan Smith, Malcolm Allen, Sam Capell, Wayne Reeves, Dee Taylor, Patsy Burrows, Sophie Beddingham, Alexia Froluch, Richard Collett, Charlotte Harris and Lucy Porter, there will also be special offers and extended opening hours.
Cursley and Bond will be offering free jewellery washing while Hiraeth Creative will polish and reshape rings free of charge; artist Shane Record will be in-store demonstrating; Jo Letchford Mosaics are offering a 20% discount on mosaics and materials; Rennies will be opening late till 8pm providing drinks, cheese and pineapple on sticks; Plectrums, Pens and Paints will be offering a 5% discount on Tanglewood instruments and the award winning Steven Harkin of Anecdotes design will be running a tote bag making workshop.
