For the third year running Jim Jam Arts will be transforming the Coastal Park this Sunday.

Based on Alice in Wonderland, join Alice and various other characters in their jam packed family fun day.

This really is a super day for the kids with lots of interaction to keep them busy.  A completely free event that is funded by Shepway District Council: “It’s suitable for all the family and any ages. Everyone goes off round the park together.” Said Sue from Jim Jam Arts.

A great day to take a picnic, it starts at 1pm with characters including Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, the Caterpillar, Mad Hatter, the Rabbit and more.

There is a hat and mask making workshop from 1 - 2pm in the Amphitheatre and in the afternoon, Alice will tumble down the Zig Zag path and The Queen will discover that someone has stolen her tarts.  Who could it be?

Various Characters will be at the Coastal Park

Alice will be the one accused and thrown into prison and it’s up to her to find young detectives who can help find the real culprit.

Sue explains what’s involved: “The children have to take statements from the characters to find missing words and then work out who stole the tarts.

The King and Queen will summon everyone to the court and it is up to the young detectives to reveal the truth.”

There is also a party at the end of the afternoon with live music from ‘Lonesome Trail’, a juggler, storytelling a stilt walker plent more to keep teh whole family entertained.

Dress as your favourite Alice character, head to the Coastal Park and have a great day out with Jim Jam Arts.
