Alex Hartley

The London and Devon based artist often suggests in his work how we might think differently to our constructed surroundings and how we occupy landscape.

Responding to the Triennial's theme 'Lookout' Hartley used state of the art climbing technology to create a lookout point suspended from the highest point of The Grand Burstin Hotel, 180ft up.

The camp will be inhabited during the Triennial by the artist and by volunteers who will keep a log of what they see.
